France Team Update #8

We arrived in Amsterdam Friday afternoon and settled into our rooms before beginning our debrief. This time consisted of prayer, reflection and conversation about the past week. 

After our first debrief meeting, we took the train to downtown Amsterdam. Once there, we had to run through the streets to get to our boat tour down the canal in time. We just made it! After a beautiful tour of the city, we sat for dinner at an Italian restaurant and shared what we loved and saw in each team member. It was a core team memory as we showered love and encouragement onto one another. We took the train back to the hotel for bed. 

On Sunday morning, we slept through all of our alarms and didn’t wake until 10am! Apparently, we all really needed the rest. We grabbed a quick breakfast before having another meeting. Such beautiful worship, prayer, and fellowship filled the day! We trained into the city for the last time for some quick shopping and sightseeing before dinner.

After some delicious food, we had one-on-one meetings with a team leader about how we saw God at work and how we want to continue to grow. We packed while watching the World Cup game, then off to bed. 

Monday we woke up early, took the train to the airport, and boarded our plane. We arrived at PDX with family and friends to greet us. We are so grateful for this experience and want to thank everyone who has supported us!
