The key to connecting with others at Good Shepherd is to join a small group. There are many opportunities to be involved in a small group: Growth Groups, Celebrate Recovery, and Grief Share, just to name a few. (See also Men & Women.)
At the heart of our small group ministry are Growth Groups. Growth Groups are groups of 10-18 people, generally focused on a study around the current sermon series. Groups will vary with different age groups: singles, couples or a mix. Our desire is that group members connect relationally, study the Bible in a way to practically apply to everyday life, and encourage each other in prayer.
Adult Bible Studies
Adult Bible Studies are groups that gather to learn and grow together in venues on campus other than our main worship services.

Recovery is an important part of everyone’s life! Celebrate Recovery is biblically-based, Christ-centered ministry of recovery not only serving our church family, but also reaches out to our community, offering real help and hope.
Each weekly meeting begins with praise and worship in a large group, followed by either a lesson, personal testimony, or a special guest speaker. Then small groups gather that are gender specific and topic specific.
All ages are welcome! We offer “The Landing” for middle school and high school ages, and those younger than middle school attend a children’s program.
If you have lost a loved one, you know there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. Grief Share is designed to be an exception, a safe place for hurting folks. The thirteen week class also provides valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future.
Our next class begins on Sunday, September 10. We will meet from 4:30-6:30 pm in the Green Room. To register, call Mary at (503) 663-5050, ext. 219.
Cost: $30 per person, payable at first session.

Our next class begins Sunday, April 15 and continues through June 10. We will meet at 11:15 am in Room S003 (in the basement of the Study Center). For more information, contact Linda at the church office.
