Loved Ones
Loved Ones is a disability ministry serving people of all ages—from babies to adults. We exist to come alongside individuals and families with care, connection, and support. Our heart is to provide buddies for anyone who needs one-on-one support, offer monthly Respite Saturdays, host parent support groups, and create community through a weekly adult class on Saturday nights during church.
Loved Ones Ministry exists to come alongside every age and ability connecting all to the Good Shepherd family.

If you’d like to sign up your loved ones or get involved by serving with our ministry, you’re in the right place!
We look forward to having you join a ministry where lives are blessed—including yours!

Loved Ones offers a weekly weekend class for adults with disabilities (18 and up) during the Saturday night service. We start in the South auditorium for worship and then transition to the Banquet Room for fellowship and teaching. Please look for the rows in the back of the South Auditorium that say “Reserved for Loved Ones Ministry,” that way we can sit together as a group while we worship along side our church family. We meet all year long (even through the Summer).
No registration required for our weekend class but we do ask that you fill out our ONE-TIME participant application (if you have not so already) so that we can know how to best come along side you.
We hope you can join us!

We are offering Respite Saturdays once a month on the second Saturday for children and adults with special needs. This event is designed to give parents a consistent time they can count on and is open to all ages. For participants and their siblings, we will provide a time of worship, fun, and fellowship.
Respite Saturday events take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Since the event takes place during lunchtime, we ask that participants please bring a sack lunch.
We have a ONCE-A-YEAR registration for our Respite Saturdays. Once you have registered you and/or your Loved Ones for the 2026-27 year, you do not need to register again each month. We will have a couple of other events throughout the year that you will need to sign up for but we will be sure to let you know.
VOLUNTEERS:
We need many volunteers to make this time a success, as many of our guests will need one-on-one support. Separate activities will be available for different age groups and levels of participation. Make sure to sign up to join us. Volunteers also only need to sign up once, not each time we have an event.
