The Nahamani Garden was created to honor babies who have passed away, including those who were stillborn, miscarried, aborted, or who died during their first year of life. This garden serves as a place of healing for families who have been touched by such loss, providing space to grieve, mourn, and ultimately find comfort in God’s promises.

The name “Nahamani” means “Yahweh has consoled,” and it is our prayer that all who enter the garden will experience the healing and peace that only the Loving Father can provide amidst their grief.

Located in the south park area of our church campus, just past the playground, the garden is open to visitors at any time. However, if visiting during school hours, we kindly ask that you check in at the church office.

A registration form is available to have a name added to the memorial stone in the garden. Attending Good Shepherd is not required to submit names, and the engraving cost is $30 per name (non-tax-deductible). Names are added annually, with the submission deadline being July 1st. Engraving takes place each August.
