Serbia Team Update #7

The past few days since camp have been so bittersweet. It was really, really hard to leave the students and the local team. We really created a family down here in Serbia.

On a lighter note, we got to visit Belgrade with the local team and debrief. We had so many good conversations about how the Lord worked throughout the week. Seeing each other’s different perspectives on how camp went for them was powerful for all of us.

We got to see the city of Belgrade, eat some delicious food, and spend good quality time with the local team before we headed out.

After a quick flight everyone spent journaling, we were in Greece! Dan Vorm, on Good Shepard Global Outreach staff, picked us up from the airport and has been so hospitable. It has been a blast hanging out with him!

We got dinner when we landed and hung out together. Tuesday, we spent the whole first half of the day debriefing and praying for one another. The Lord has been so present this trip. It’s crazy to hear the amount of ways He impacted every single person on our team.

We got to have amazing gyros for lunch,  swim in the Aegean Sea and see the Acropolis! The craziest part about it was that the Acropolis was there before Jesus was. We also got to stand on the rocks Paul did in Acts 17 and read the scripture. This was one of the most amazing moments!

This morning as we head to the airport, we are so sad to be leaving but so excited for what God is going to do next. Thank you for your prayers!! Evharisto!! [Thank you])
