Thailand Team Update #7

A little update from the Thailand team!

If you asked any of us, we were not ready to leave the kids and staff at Seed of Hope. The connections we made were incredibly special, and we hope to continue those relationships for many years to come. We all agreed we would have loved to spend a few more days loving on the kids and having even more meaningful conversations.

During the final days of our program, we wrapped up the story of Joseph and ended our time together with a fun fashion show where the kids worked in teams to create their own “coats of many colors.” It was a blast watching the kids work so hard and have so much fun showing off their creations.

We also made one last visit to Parker Land, where we pulled weeds to clear the walkways and helped finish building the chicken coops they’ve been working on. It was such a blessing to see firsthand what the generosity and donations of so many people have made possible for the Seed of Hope community.

On our final morning at Seed of Hope, we walked the kids to school one last time before beginning our journey back to Chiang Mai. The goodbyes were hard, but we’re leaving with hearts full of gratitude. As we head home, we ask that you’ll join us in praying for the children, the staff, and the ministry at Seed of Hope.

We’ve spent the past two days in Chiang Mai, where we had the opportunity to spend time with the Meiers and visit Connie’s Home, an orphanage in Chiang Mai. We had a wonderful time playing with the children and hearing Connie and Richard share the vision and mission God has given them for that place.

Now we’re preparing for the debrief portion of our trip, where we’ll reflect together on how we’ve seen God moving in the hearts of the people we met and in our own hearts as we’ve served . We are so grateful for everything we’ve experienced and can’t wait to share more when we’re home.
