Veterans Ministry
If you are a Veteran or you simply want to come alongside our vets in support, we would love to have you in our ministry! We will have events throughout the year that we hope honor our veterans and bring the community together around them.

Our veterans ministry hosts 4 events throughout the year including movie nights, special memorial day events and our veterans’ day breakfast. All are always welcome ….our vets, their family, friends and anyone who would like to support them or learn more about our ministry. We also encourage and support our military through the blessing box ministry which mails care packages to active military around the world several times each year.
For more information call Steve Bass at (503) 784-2101.
HOW TO PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY
- Pray for their safety and protection.
- Pray for courage and strength as they face the dangers and challenges of their duty.
- Pray for their spiritual growth and confidence in God’s Word. If they do not know Jesus, pray for open hearts to receive Him as their Savior.
- Pray for peace and protection for their families left behind.
Psalm 33:18 – The eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him…
Psalm 32:10b – the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him

Donations for Blessing Boxes
Donations due by Wednesday, November 4, 2026
We’re assembling 75 care packages on Friday, November 6, to thank and encourage military members serving far from home.
And this is where you come in! We need your help filling those boxes! Some of the most-requested items include Starbucks coffee, beef jerky, protein bars, and notes from kids, but there are plenty of other fun items needed, too.
Check out the “Most Wanted” pdf or online list to find items you want to donate, and bring your donations to the big blue barrels at the North or South entrances by November 4.
