Good Shepherd Vision Fund
For decades, Good Shepherd has demonstrated extraordinary generosity toward accomplishing vision beyond the day-to-day needs. Our people give beyond their tithe toward vision because their heart’s desire is to see the Lord’s kingdom boldly advance in our community and throughout the world.
The Vision Fund will help better communicate and manage these contributions. Rather than sharing vision in small pieces throughout the year, the Vision Fund holistically outlines this year’s vision opportunities. In the past, we could only give toward specific vision for certain weeks of the year. Now, the Vision Fund will remain open throughout the entire year allowing people more freedom to give when it’s best for them. The Vision Fund will also bring greater clarity to all the specific vision initiatives that the leadership believes is the Lord’s direction.
The Vision Fund will fund both Local and Global outreach designations, as well as our Home Base needs.
In the past, when money was designated for Disaster Relief and that amount was met, excess dollars above and beyond would remain in that relief fund, unable to be used, until the next disaster occurred. Now, the Elders can redirect that money into another vision fund project as the need arises. Please consider how you can give to Good Shepherd’s Vision Fund, so we can reach further and faster in multiplying disciples to bring the Gospel locally and globally.

Parking Lot Expansion and Resurfacing
We are running out of parking space for our weekend services. If we pave the grassed lot currently used for overflow parking (eastside), we will add an additional 150 parking spaces.
HOW IS THE VISION FUND DIFFERENT FROM MY MONTHLY TITHE?
Any giving to the Vision Fund should be considered above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings.
CAN I DONATE MONEY TO SPECIFIC MINISTRIES?
Yes! And each ministry has a specic budget goal.
HOW ARE FUNDS DIRECTED?
All Vision Fund donations are considered unrestricted donations and may be used as determined by the Elders. If funds go over the planned goal, they may be used to support other Vision projects as determined by Elders.
HOW DOES THIS BENEFIT THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION?
Previously, when a ministry met its budget goal, any dollars above this amount would remain allocated to that specic ministry for months or in some cases, years. The Elders would rather see these dollars put to work.
WHEN CAN I DONATE?
In the past, we could only give toward specific vision for certain weeks of the year. Now, the Vision Fund will remain open throughout the entire year, allowing people more freedom to give when it’s best for them.
