Thailand Team Update #2

After a refreshing night’s sleep, we were graciously hosted by the Meier family at their home for a delightful breakfast buffet. The spread included a delicious egg frittata casserole, pastries, and fresh local fruit. Thank you, Karyn! We had the opportunity to hear from Paul and Karyn about their journey to becoming global outreach staff in Thailand. Ryan and Rebecca Stowell were also present to share their story of how they became connected with Seed of Hope in Thailand. It was inspiring for our team to hear how God has been working and continues to work in each of their stories.

Following breakfast, we were scheduled to have lunch and then visit a program called illumin8. However, due to the director’s illness, we had to change our plans. This experience reminded us that we sometimes need to be flexible and adjust to unforeseen changes. The team adapted well, and instead, we visited an elephant café where we enjoyed lunch while watching the elephants and taking in the breathtaking mountain views.

Later, we managed to freshen up, grab some dinner at the night market, and continue adjusting to the heat and time change. We are doing great! Everyone is excited and ready to head up to Seed of Hope tomorrow afternoon. Thank you for your continued prayers.
