Women’s Bible Study
Our purpose statement for Women’s Ministry at Good Shepherd is “Renewing your Thirst for God and Pursuing Genuine Relationships.” In Woman’s Bible study, we are growing in the Lord as we read and study His Word, and we are enjoying meaningful friendships by being together. We’d love to have you join us for an amazing year of spiritual growth and fellowship.
Our study this year will take us through the Gospel of John. As a close disciple of Jesus, John wrote his gospel with a specific purpose in mind: “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). The God that existed before time began, the God that spoke and brought life into existence, this very God became flesh in Jesus Christ. Come with us this year as we walk alongside Jesus on the dusty roads of Judea, Samaria, and Galilee. He came to this earth so you could know Him, and in knowing Him find eternal life. As we study the book of John, we’ll behold His hands and His feet, we’ll listen to His words, and witness His touch. Come, and you will see what God is like!
This study will lead us through the inductive method of Bible study which includes observation, interpretation, reflection, and application. The Bible itself will be our source of information as we learn what the text says, what it means, and how to live what we learn. God communicates to us. Our part in hearing Him is a willingness to set aside time to look at what the Scripture is saying, thereby drawing us into a closer relationship with Him.
Women’s Bible study will have two start-up dates depending upon which day of the week you are able to come. The Tuesday Evening groups start on September 19th the Wednesday groups on September 20th and Tuesday Morning groups start on September 26th.

Mom to mom
Moms with little ones meet once a month to hear a special speaker and discuss topics on marriage and parenting. Fellowship, encouragement, mentoring and fun is the focus of the time together. This is a free gathering and children’s classes are available for birth – Kindergarden at no additional cost. We also have a homeschool classroom available.
We will gather on the second Thursday of every month beginning in September and concluding in May. If you plan to attend one of our gatherings in the 2023-2024 season, we are asking you to complete a one time registration for yourself and your little ones. This will help us plan for the year for you and for our kid programs.
