Women’s Ministry focuses on encouraging the women of Good Shepherd to renew their thirst for God and pursue genuine relationships. We find that spiritual and personal growth is enhanced in community and we enjoy relationships that inspire us and enable us to know and be known.
Women’s Bible Study
This year in Women’s Bible Study, we will be focusing on the Life of David through 1 and 2 Samuel. With the exception of Jesus, there is more written about David than any other biblical character. In our lessons we begin with David anointed as a young shepherd boy and follow his adventures through battles and intrigue as King of Israel. Included in each lesson is a psalm that gives insight into the thoughts and feelings David experienced and his dependence upon the Lord as his refuge and strength throughout his life.
Each week we begin our time together with worship and teaching followed by discussion time in small groups. These small groups are a wonderful blend of younger and older women nurturing relationships that are unique and long lasting.

Mom to Mom
Mom to Mom is a community of mothers of young children who meet once a month. We seek to provide a welcoming place for women to find friendship and Christ-centered teaching about marriage, parenting and personal growth. We strive to provide encouragement, and support in a fun atmosphere for women as they influence eternity through the spiritual legacy of their children. Check out the Mom to Mom Online Community Facebook page for more information.
We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month from 9:30 am – 11:45 am, September – May (children’s program available)
