Women’s Bible Study

Our purpose statement for Women’s Ministry at Good Shepherd is “Renewing your Thirst for God and Pursuing Genuine Relationships.” In Woman’s Bible study, we are growing in the Lord as we read and study His Word, and we are enjoying meaningful friendships by being together. We’d love to have you join us for an amazing year of spiritual growth and fellowship.

Our studies run from late September to early May. This year’s study is the book of John.  Next year’s study will be introduced in May. Registration will open in July.

Our studies are an inductive method of Bible study which includes observation, interpretation, reflection, and application. The Bible itself is the our source of information as we learn what the text says, what it means, and how to live what we learn. God communicates to us. Our part in hearing Him is a willingness to set aside time to look at what the Scripture is saying, thereby drawing us into a closer relationship with Him.

The following dedicated study sessions are available for our yearly study:

Tuesday Morning: 6 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.

Tuesday Evening: 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday Morning: Bible study meets at the church weekly from 9:15–11:45 a.m. and offers the opportunity to attend a large group gathering with worship and teaching. The Kid Lights children’s program is also available Wednesday mornings.

Bible Study registration is currently closed. If you would like more information or have any questions, we are here to help! Please email Debbie Felzien.

Please check back in the late Spring for information about our Summer Bible Study Read Through and other summer study options.

You are also encouraged to check out our Bible Study video archives on our Women’s Bible Study Channel on Youtube.

Mom to mom

Moms with little ones meet once a month to hear a special speaker and discuss topics on marriage and parenting. Fellowship, encouragement, mentoring and fun is the focus of the time together. This is a free gathering and children’s classes are available for birth – Kindergarden at no additional cost. We also have a homeschool classroom available.

We will gather on the second Thursday of every month beginning in September and concluding in May. If you plan to attend one of our gatherings in the 2023-2024 season, we are asking you to complete a one time registration for yourself and your little ones. This will help us plan for the year for you and for our kid programs.

Cost: Free
