Thailand Team Update #3

Today marked our first full day at the Seed of Hope Dormitory. We arrived yesterday and enjoyed a delightful lunch at the Sticky Waterfalls National Park, embarking on a two-hour journey through breathtaking mountains. Cooling off in the climbing waterfalls reminded us of the profound beauty and adventure nature offers.
As we settled in at Seed of Hope, we marveled at the transformations since our last visit. Reconnecting with the dedicated staff felt heartwarming, as if no time had passed. With smiles all around, we watched students return from school, their curiosity sparkling as they peeked in to see who was here. It was a truly moving experience to witness students recognizing the familiar faces of our returning team members! We engaged in fun activities, shared dinner, and participated in Tuesday evening worship, cultivating a strong sense of community.
Wednesday morning greeted us with the inviting aroma of Seed of Hope coffee, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Walking the younger students to school filled us with joy, fostering connections that lifted our spirits. Following that, we attended a staff meeting and Bible study, had lunch, and prepared for our first evening program, excited to inspire and uplift. Please continue to pray for our relationships with the students and staff, and for the parents and community to come to know Jesus. Like anywhere, they face hard circumstances and need the love of Jesus.
