Greece: Samos Team Update #3

Hello Family and Friends – Happy 4th of July!

We have had a very enriching time at the Oikos training, as teams are being prepared to be sent to their service locations tomorrow. One of the highlights this morning was hearing from Johnathan, the lead servant from Hellenic Ministries. He challenged us to be the best form of Jesus to others. This type of evangelism here means to love others purely, and make meaningful connections. It takes time. One of our attached photos shows a worship time together where we sang in both English and Greek – heavenly!  Another shows the locations where teams will be ministering this next week. We will be on the islands of Patmos and Samos.  We fly and ferry there tomorrow.

Please pray for the teams, that we seek to maintain a strong spirit of unity through love, grace, service and forgiveness.

Pray for good soil, open hearts, and opportunities to share God‘s love.

Pray for a person of peace, who will be God‘s “point person” in a town, who has the natural respect, leadership ability, and the means to host a hoped for community of faith.

Thank you for your prayers!
