Thailand Team Update #8

As our time in Thailand comes to an end, we’ve spent these final days doing something important:
stopping, reflecting, and listening to what God has been showing us.
After all the activity, service, laughter, and time with the kids, we’ve had the opportunity as a team to debrief and process everything we’ve experienced.
One of the biggest things we’ve talked about is how much God has changed us. We came hoping to be a blessing to the children and staff at Seed of Hope, but God reminded us that when we are willing to serve, He often blesses us far more than we could imagine. The relationships we built, the faith we witnessed, and the joy of being with these kids have left a lasting mark on each of us.
We’ve also asked ourselves,
“What do we do with what God has shown us when we get home?”
We don’t want this to simply be a great memory or a story about a trip to Thailand. We want it to change the way we live to love people more intentionally, serve more willingly, have greater compassion, and recognize the opportunities God puts in front of us every day.
We’ve learned that missions isn’t just something we do when we travel to another country.
It’s a way of living wherever God has placed us.
The children of Seed of Hope may be thousands of miles away, but what God taught us through them is coming home with us.
Thank you to everyone who prayed, encouraged, gave, and supported our team.
You were part of this mission.
We are coming home with tired bodies, full hearts, and a renewed desire to follow wherever God leads.
Please continue to pray for Seed of Hope, the children and staff, and for our team as we return home—that what God began in us in Thailand will continue to grow.
“Here I am, Lord. Send me!” — Isaiah 6:8
