California Mission Trip Update #2

Jenny and Nathan’s team:

The first couple of days were great, spending time on the bus worshiping and having fun! Our team has bonded so quickly in response to prayer and Gods grace. As our week at VOR is coming to an end, we are all so excited to see how the Lord has and will use the seeds we planted in the kids lives at VOR. It has been such a blessing and honor to get to pray for these kids everyday and grow in relationship with them. So many of them have connected with our team, and have experienced the Lords love through us.

By Gods grace in answering prayers for open hearts and opportunities, multiple members on our team have been able to share the gospel with the kids. As well as growing relationships with the kids and pointing them to the Lord, we have been playing games with them, teaching them valuable life skills to help them adapt to life in America.

Some ways you could be praying for our team is health and energy for our last day at VOR and ending of the trip. Please be praying also for our hearts to be sensitive to his spirit calling us to move, and boldness to step out of our comfort zone in having deep conversations with the kids at VOR.
