France Team Update #3

HEYY EVERYONE! 

Today was such good day full of fun and good community! We started off the day with a brisk walk and a stop at this really cute bakery down the street for breakfast. From there we headed to the school where the real fun began! The people came around 9:30 and we had a nice, small group of about 15 participants. We did many fun things together like worship, devotion, and get to know you games. We also took part in leading workshops. There were boardgames, line dancing, and grammar. I personally took part in a very fun game of Uno in the board game club! 

We also got the opportunity to be a part of and teach in our English classes. It was so powerful and eye opening to see the ways all the people came together even at different stages of life but all with the same goal and all with such passion! It was encouraging to me as a younger person being in conversation with some of the older folks, because they have such a desire to speak English and speak about Christ and share about Him and what He’s done! We finished camp and made our way to the Vixathep house. On the way, we had a quick stop to see some storks! We shared a very delicious meal of French tacos. Some of us swam and some hiked around. We ended our day with a nice drive back to our Airbnb. 

Thank you for praying! We could use continued prayer just for sleep and getting adjusted to jet lag, and for deeper connections as we continue farther into the English camp.
