France Team Update #7

Hi family!

Happy Friday! We started our day with prayer and worship, thanking the Lord for an amazing week and asking Him to make our last day of English Camp an amazing one. After that, we jumped into English Alive and got to spend more time learning, laughing, and talking with our classes. It’s hard to believe that our final day is already here!

After a great lunch, we played a fun game of Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza to get our energy back up before heading back into English Alive. We got to spend one last afternoon with our classes, making memories and enjoying every minute we had left together. It was definitely bittersweet knowing that our time with them was coming to an end.

Later this evening, we headed to Viviane’s church, which kindly let us use their space for our final meal and talent show together. Each English level did a performance, and we also got to enjoy some accordion playing and line dancing! It was such a fun way to celebrate the week. After dinner, we played Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza again, and spent as much time as possible talking to and hanging out with our new friends before saying goodbye.

We are very sad to leave, but we feel beyond blessed to have been given this opportunity. We are so thankful for the people we have met and are excited to stay in touch and continue praying for each of them. Everyone at camp has been so eager to learn and better their English, and that has been such an inspiration and encouragement to us!

Please be praying that each person here will get to keep practicing their English and continue to shine the light and love of Jesus to those around them. Tomorrow we will travel to Amsterdam for a team debrief before heading home. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support throughout this trip!
