Greece 2 Team – Update #1

Our “Greece 2” Team was commissioned this past weekend and we are ready – as ready as we can be, that is. We enjoyed a potluck together after the Saturday night service which included the honor of meeting and getting to know our respective individual families and loved ones.

This Friday morning, September 6, we fly out from PDX and head to Washington DC before then getting to Greece proper. It’ll be an appropriate start for a long, new-to-all-of-us journey as it’ll take over 24 hours of travel to arrive to our 3-week long destination on the Greek island of Lesvos.

Thank you for your prayers, your lovingkindness to us as a team, and for partnering with us as we seek to show Jesus to all we encounter by the opportunities we have. Did you know you are with us in this? The work and power of the Holy Spirit is an incredible and powerful force – One with a tremendous track record that unites us together as His Church. Smile.
