Kenya Team Update #3

We attended church at AIC Tangi Tatu for Fathers Day. It was a rich worship experience involving songs, dancing, testimonies, church updates, prayer, more dancing, children’s, women’s and men’s each with their own song/dance, a sermon, and Stan Heath provided his testimony translated into Maasai. Following church we joined the congregation for a meal and Kenyan chai tea. The service lasted about 3 hours.

After the church service we were invited to Pastor Josphat Musanga and his wife Jane’s home for more tea and an afternoon snack. Following the afternoon tea we walked to 3 dams the Good Shepherd assisted with in order to help farmers get water to their crops. The plastic to contain the water and a solar powered pump will get water to crops when the dry season comes. We were able to pray over each of the dams and the owners were extremely grateful and send their thanks to Good Shepherd.
