Romania Team Update #9

Hey fam squad,
Camp is officially done! The last couple days have been incredible, and God has been moving in ways that I don’t think any of us could have imagined.
We had some bumps in the road with flights, bins, layovers, vans, borders, health, electricity, water, (you name it), but boy did God move powerfully through this trip!
Friday morning at camp we went on a 6 mile hike with the kids in place of workshops. It was a great opportunity to chat with them about the impactful night before, and the labyrinth they walked through. The hike was pretty chill, but it was a little toasty outside. I got to talk with a student about how she wanted to share her testimony with the camp!
The program that evening was prayer and worship focused instead of a usual sermon. The Romanian leaders prayed for the campers as they came up to the front, and some of us were prayed over as well! It was so cool to see my team praying with students and praying over the students.
Camp ended Saturday, and we got to spend most of the day just hanging out while we waited for the bus to take students to the train. We got to hear testimonies from camp, and Miriam shared a testimony too!
After a long van ride back to Medgidia, we headed to Budapest to debrief the trip. This was a time filled with sharing highlights, processing our experience, and preparing how we will share the trip with our friends and family when we get back.
We can’t wait to see you all when we get home! Please pray for a stress free easy peasy travel day home, and for the health of our team, we have been facing some exhaustion, dehydration, and sickness.
Thank you all for your prayers and support, it has truly been essential to the success of this trip.
– Maddie Stumbo, for the team
